The webinar is intended for employers, state agencies, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), and others with a role or interest in understanding workers- compensation pharmacy processing.
In the 60-minute webinar, NCPDP WG16 Property & Casualty/Workers Compensation Co-chairs, Jim Andrews, R.Ph., Senior VP, Pharmacy Services, Cypress Care, Inc., and Kevin Tribout, Executive Director, Government Affairs, PMSI, Inc., will provide an overview of workers- compensation including who administers coverage and who pays for its services. The presenters will describe how eligibility is established, uncover the most common pharmacy fill challenges, and explore critical topics such as ePrescribing, billing, subrogation and PBM licensure, accreditation and reporting. Attendees will also gain insight into the importance of state agencies embracing the standards developed by NCPDP.
