SEH Achieves Revenue Growth of Ten Per Cent Worldwide with Solutions for Network Printing
Bielefeld, February 1st, 2007. – SEH, a globally operating specialist for network printing solutions, reports a sales revenue of 7.5 million Euro in 2006. This translates into annual growth of about ten per cent, surpassing the overall growth of the IT market worldwide. Successful international projects and licence agreements contributed significantly to the good result, as did the very positive business development of the US subsidiary SEH Technology, Inc.
The German network specialist SEH was able to raise its sales revenue by 10 per cent in 2006, achieving a total revenue of 7.5 million Euro. In the light of a global IT revenue growth of 4.6 per cent, with 4.4 per cent growth in Europe and 4.9 per cent in the USA in 2006 according to EITO/IDC, SEH significantly exceeded the growth rates of the international IT markets. The good result is due to several factors. “During the last year we could finalize several interesting projects. Licence agreements also contributed to the financial growth of SEH,” SEH Marketing Director Reinhold Clausjuergens explains. The number of units sold was also up noticeably. “Our strong portfolio of network printing solutions is central to the good result of 2006, especially the SEH Intelligent Spooling Device ISD300 for the efficient management of print jobs and queues,” Clausjuergens adds.
Positive Business Development in the USA
A large contribution to SEH-s revenue growth comes from its US subsidiary, which was founded in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, two years ago. SEH Technology, Inc. achieved a total revenue of more than one million US dollars in 2006, most of which was handled by broadline distribution.
Prospects for 2007
Presently, SEH is optimistic about the future, expecting to raise the number of units sold by about ten percent in 2007. However, Clausjuergens refuses to be too euphoric: “As sales of printers and multifunctional peripherals continue to rise, opening up good business prospects for SEH, we should stay realistic. Prices for hardware are still on the downturn and will not allow us to raise our sales revenue to the same degree as the number of units sold,” he states.
