Japan-s IDC Frontier Selects HP to Tap Into the Cloud

PALO ALTO, CA — (Marketwire) — 03/13/12 — HP (NYSE: HPQ) today announced that , a leading data-center provider in Japan, has selected solutions to enhance its network infrastructure to meet increasing demand for cloud services.

A pioneer in the data center industry, IDC Frontier has provided public cloud services to Japanese organizations since 2009. Over this time, the company has experienced tremendous growth in the number of its cloud services customers, which has put a strain on its existing IT systems.

IDC Frontier needed to enhance its network infrastructure to accommodate more users for its new on-demand public cloud offering, . The company selected the for its capability to scale seamlessly, enabling increased network bandwidth across its nine data centers throughout Japan.
