Acme Packet SBCs Selected for Microsoft Lync Server 2010 Multitenant Pack for Partner Hosting

BEDFORD, MA — (Marketwire) — 03/06/12 — (NASDAQ: APKT), the leader in session delivery network solutions, today announced that Microsoft Corp. has selected the session border controllers (SBCs) for the Microsoft Lync Server 2010 Multitenant Pack for Partner Hosting, a unified communications (UC) hosting solution for telecom and hosting providers. In addition, Acme Packet announced today that its Net-Net Session Director is part of the Microsoft Lync Hosted Pack Reference Architecture, a blueprint that hosting providers use to create UC services for enterprise customers, and that Acme Packet has joined the Microsoft Lync Hosted Pack Reference Architecture Partner Ecosystem, a group of IP communications product vendors and service providers organized by Microsoft to create solutions that enable the introduction of an array of UC services based on Microsoft Lync.
