SAN FRANCISCO, CA — (Marketwire) — 03/05/12 — Recommind today announced the industry-s first and only Predictive Coding Training Program, a formal program to educate and train judges, attorneys and litigation support professionals in the patented Predictive Coding technology and workflow developed by Recommind and recently approved in a landmark case. A comprehensive program to educate practitioners in the most advanced and effective approach to eDiscovery, the Predictive Coding Training Program allows customers and prospects alike to become familiar with Predictive Coding methodologies, workflows and technology, learn best practices, and achieve highly valuable certification in using, project managing and leading document reviews utilizing this powerful technology and workflow. The multistage educational program consisting of seminars, roundtables, webinars, white papers, case studies and hands-on training is open to virtually any interested party, including the bench, and will culminate in a certification program to become formally available starting in April.
The Predictive Coding Training Program will offer online and in-person training courses and materials around the US for judges, corporate counsel, law firm partners, associates, project managers, paralegals and other litigation support professionals. The Program will be extended to the UK and Europe later in 2012, and Asia on an as-needed basis.
“While we and many of our clients were early champions of Predictive Coding, Judge Peck-s groundbreaking opinion endorsing Recommind-s Predictive Coding technology and patented workflow in Da Silva Moore v. Publicis Groupe should stimulate demand for predictive coding tools,” said Bob Trenchard, partner, WilmerHale. “We know very well how challenging it can be to integrate a defensible methodology leveraging predictive coding technology. Because they are at the forefront of this technology, Recommind understands the importance of training staff quickly with this technology.”
“Having worked closely with Recommind during the past few years, we have acquired first-hand knowledge of the dramatic efficiency gains that can be realized through the use of Axcelerate eDiscovery with Predictive Coding,” said Tess Blair, partner, Morgan Lewis. “Now that Judge Peck has officially endorsed the use of predictive coding in court, we expect broad and rapid acceptance of the method, and thus it-s vital that the industry be educated about the predictive coding process and what this means to law firms and clients alike. We are excited to partner with Recommind on this Predictive Coding educational campaign to share our real-world experience in implementing computer-assisted review.”

“While the popularity of Predictive Coding has skyrocketed over the past year, we believe that momentum from recent court endorsements will accelerate its adoption even further. As the leader in Predictive Coding, we-re committing our resources to help explain what predictive coding is, and how it can be best applied, making it even easier for those in the legal industry to take advantage of its game-changing efficiency,” said Bob Tennant, CEO Recommind. “Document analysis and review should be a simple process that quickly and proportionately identifies the heart of every case so that lawyers can get back to practicing law. When lawyers are able to understand what their case is about faster, with far less manual effort, litigation and regulatory proceedings once again become a quest for truth rather than a game of -chicken- over eDiscovery costs.”
