By the voting of design engineers in China, Intersil-s , the industry-s first fully encapsulated digital power module, was selected as the winner in the “Power Devices/Voltage Converter” category.
The ZL9101M is a 12A variable output step-down PMBus-compliant digital power supply. Included in the module is a high performance digital PWM controller, power MOSFETs, an inductor and all the passive components required for a complete, highly integrated, simple to use, DC/DC power solution. It has built-in auto-compensation algorithms, which eliminates the need for manual compensation design work while also delivering greater than 90 percent efficiency and fast transient response.
