SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA — (Marketwire) — 01/10/12 — Bitzio, Inc. (“Bitzio” or “the Company”) (OTCBB: BTZO) has announced the successful launch of its first comprehensive series for app developers known as the App Code in October. “With almost 800 attendees purchasing Bitzio-s full App Code program, our strategy to nurture mobile application developers is validated,” said Amish Shah, Executive VP, Product Vision.
In addition, there were over 2800 subscribers to Bitzio-s online promotion that featured the recently published book “How to Make iPhone Apps With No Programming Experience”, written by Quoc Bui and Michael Moon, the co-founders of FreeTheApps, acquired by Bitzio in 2011. The book is a firsthand account of the authors- massively successful launch into the app development business, with first year revenues of over $700,000, growing into $1 million in their second year.
The App Code is a unique, proprietary, step-by-step program for app developers on how to develop a sustainable mobile application business. The program was introduced to over 2,000 online attendees. Registrants in the full App Code program participate through a set of six modules delivered via webinar. The final stage of the program is a unique 2-day live event, open for all participants, which will be held in San Diego, California on January 14 and 15, 2012. The event will feature Bitzio-s entire executive team presenting on a full range of technical, marketing and management issues for building a successful app business.
Bitzio-s App Code series is the first key step in a three-part business strategy that is focused on making it easier for small to midsize developers to get their apps to market and optimize their revenue potential.
Bitzio-s App Code series enables the Company to find, foster and partner with developers. The second part of Bitzio-s strategy is the Bitzio platform (a suite of tools, processes and methodologies) that enables the developer to develop, deploy and optimize their apps. The third part of its business strategy allows developers to launch and cross-market their apps to the Bitzio community to increase marketing conversion and maximize revenues. Bitzio continues to build its own apps on the platform and monetize them within the rapidly growing Bitzio user community.
“Feedback from the attendees validated our theory that app developers have a strong need for the education and expertise that we can deliver,” added Shah. “Our goal is to become the leading mentor of mobile applications development, making Bitzio an indispensable partner in our developers- success. We look forward to rolling out our series in 2012 with a comprehensive set of online programs and live events, so we can continue to show developers how Bitzio is essentially their -strategic weapon- as they fight for share of wallet with consumers.”
