In recent months, ProPhotonix has launched the COBRA Cure FX Series of innovative UV LED Curing Systems, designed specifically for UV curing of inks, coatings and adhesives. At Label Expo Americas in September, ProPhotonix will exhibit its full range of solutions for the first time.
The new UV LED systems are the result of 15 years of experience in UV LEDs and more than 21 years of LED experience working with OEMs. The COBRA Cure FX platform maximizes the inherent value of LED Solutions while also incorporating a number of unique features. These patent pending features have been developed to ensure ease of integration, optimum performance, maximum lifetime, safety and reliability in the field.
The COBRA Cure FX series offers many advantages for both equipment manufacturers and end-users. These compact, fan-cooled modules are designed for plug and play use, require no shuttering or extraction units and therefore deliver a significant space saving and a more environmentally friendly solution. The FX series is available in a range of wavelengths from 365nm – 405nm (multi-wavelength options also available) and delivers class leading intensity and edge to edge uniformity.
