SUNNYVALE, CA — (Marketwired) — 05/25/16 — Exablox®, the award winning company re-imagining storage and one of the (1), announced the promotion of Shridar Subramanian to the new role of Chief Revenue Officer, in which he will be responsible for sales, marketing, channel strategy and product management. Mr. Subramanian joined Exablox as vice president of marketing in 2013. Ezra Hookano, who most recently served as vice president of sales, will remain a strategic advisor to Exablox.

Prior to Virident, he was a senior director of marketing at Monosphere, Inc., a storage virtualization software company, where he was responsible for market and product definition for the company. Before joining Monosphere, Mr. Subramanian held senior marketing positions at NetApp, where he was responsible for defining and driving solutions for major enterprise verticals. His previous experience includes software engineer for Intergraph Corporation and management consultant at Booz Allen & Hamilton. Mr. Subramanian received his Master of Science in computer science from Penn State University and his MBA from the University of Chicago.
