PALO ALTO, CA — (Marketwired) — 02/04/16 — , the leader in for the biggest brands and the hottest companies, today announced that its customer list has expanded beyond 3,000 companies globally, more than three times the number of its closest cloud competitor. To mark the milestone, Adaptive Insights is partnering with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant 3,000 trees in the Tahoe National Forest — an area ravaged by fire in 2013.
“The reinvigoration of our national forest symbolizes our gratitude to the 3,000 companies who have trusted us to help manage their business performance,” said Tom Bogan, CEO of Adaptive Insights. “From our first customer to our 3,000th customer, and the broad portfolio of large enterprises to fast-growing start-ups and nonprofits in between, our customers share our mutual desire for long-term growth and sustainability. We celebrate them and look forward to continuing to fuel their success.”
Marking this celebration are the first and 3,000th Adaptive Insights customers. NASCO, an information technology provider to the healthcare industry, was the first user of Adaptive Insights software, presented and implemented by its partner InnoVergent in 2005.
“As an early adopter, we were excited about the opportunity to utilize intuitive, cutting-edge technology to assist us in our data analysis,” said Chris Hauser, CFO for NASCO. “Adaptive Insights– software allowed our team to shift its focus from managing spreadsheets to truly analyzing data. Since that time, NASCO has grown significantly, and we still rely on Adaptive Insights– tools to support our financial focus and the ever-increasing need to make sound business decisions.”
Securing its spot as Adaptive Insights– 3,000th customer, SiriusDecisions, a leading global business-to-business research and advisory firm, is deploying the Adaptive Suite to streamline its budgeting process and improve its financial planning and analysis capability.
“With Adaptive Insights– platform we have faster and much greater visibility into the impact of our financial decisions, enabling our finance team to inform our business strategy and leadership team with better supported projections as well as rolling forecasts,” said Martijn Tel, CFO for SiriusDecisions. “In today–s competitive and volatile markets, agile companies need to be able to respond fast to the many opportunities that present themselves and make calls as to what to pursue or pass on in real-time. Only in fairytales does the tortoise beat the hare, but with Adaptive Insights, we can easily and accurately do just that.”
In 2013, the American Fire raged through Tahoe National Forest, burning 22,500 acres of trees. In the aftermath of the devastation caused, the U.S. Forest Service is working to restore Tahoe National Forest with the help of the Arbor Day Foundation–s generous members and corporate supporters.
Adaptive Insights will play a significant role in the third year of reforestation efforts scheduled to commence this Spring. The 3,000 trees planted will be incorporated into a 3,470-acre project area to be planted in the April/May timeframe. Tree species to be planted include ponderosa pine, Jeffrey pine, Douglas fir, sugar pine, incense cedar, and giant sequoia.
“This reforestation effort reduces potential soil erosion and loss of soil productivity, while protecting and maintaining critical wildlife habitat,” said Dan Lambe, president, Arbor Day Foundation. “We are so grateful to corporate sponsors like Adaptive Insights that share our passion for restoring the health of our national forests after devastating natural disasters.”
