farmpilot is supplier agnostic software for the organization of agricultural enterprises. The system supports agricultural equipment, agricultural contractors, biogas plants and many similar companies in tasks such as scheduling staff, machines and contractual obligations. farmpilot aims to lighten the workload around the planning and execution of their harvest campaigns. arvato Systems experts understand of the importance of straightforward and uncomplicated performance in the field. Because of this, the farmpilot app has been extensively re-worked with improved flexibility and user friendliness – and therefore improved user acceptance – as the key goals.
The farmpilot app can be installed on any smartphone or table with Android Version 4.0 or higher, and can be downloaded free from Google Play. Once installed, machinery can be organized in a basic operational mode, and then into hierarchical or parallel groups of vehicles. When building up the groups of vehicles, the app displays not only maps of the area, but also shows the individual vehicles in the process chain. This leads to improved communications between drivers – avoiding the endless phone calls.
The self-organizing fleet will be the focus at Agritechnica, and the team will be delighted to show live demos of this. There will also be the opportunity to get an insight into functionality that is currently under construction such as data analysis services.
