BroadSoft Announces Compatibility With Microsoft Lync and Microsoft Skype for Business

PHOENIX, AZ — (Marketwired) — 10/28/15 — (NASDAQ: BSFT) today announced that its BroadWorks®, BroadCloud® and UC-One® unified communication and collaboration solutions are now compatible with Microsoft Lync and Microsoft Skype for Business, two of the industry–s leading productivity and collaboration platforms.

The interoperability will add BroadSoft UC-One–s robust, context-sensitive voice, video, mobility, screen- and file-sharing functionality to Microsoft–s conferencing, instant messaging and presence platforms for businesses — all accessible through a single interface.

BroadSoft used Microsoft–s software developer kit to enable its solutions to be compatible with Skype for Business, Skype for Business Online, Lync 2013 and Lync 2010, reflecting BroadSoft–s longstanding commitment to open platforms and the interoperability of its communication and collaboration services with other devices, systems and applications.
