Expands OEM relationship with Huawei to include Brocade Gen 5 Fibre Channel directors and fixed-port switches to complement embedded switch offerings for blade servers

Brocade (NASDAQ: BRCD) today announced continued momentum for Fibre Channel storage area networks (SANs) within China following an expansion of the company–s relationship with Huawei, one of the world–s largest telecommunications and networking equipment companies.
Brocade® Gen 5 Fibre Channel director and fixed-port switches are now being sold globally by Huawei and its network of channel partners in addition to the embedded Fibre Channel switches integrated with Huawei x86-based blade servers. Brocade switches are integrated and qualified with Huawei enterprise servers and storage arrays for mission-critical workloads.
