TORONTO, ONTARIO — (Marketwired) — 09/25/15 — Portlogic Systems Inc. (OTCQB: PGSY), a mobile and Internet software developer, is pleased to announce that it is developing a high definition video server platform which will integrate with companies– existing IP-PBX.
The video conferencing appliance will support up to 16 simultaneous conference participants with HD Video Support. This SIP-based multipoint conferencing unit appliance allows SMBs and SMEs, with multiple locations, to easily add video conferencing capacity to their existing telephony systems.
The plan for distribution is through national and regional resellers who can provide additional value to their end users. The product can be deployed as a hardware appliance or sold as a service through the cloud. Portlogic plans to launch this product by the end of December 2015.
According to Transparency Market Research, the market for video conferencing will expand at a CAGR of 9.36% during the period 2014 to 2020. In 2013, the video conferencing market was valued at US$ 3.31 billion and is expected to be worth US$ 6.40 billion in 2020.
