COSTA MESA, CA — (Marketwired) — 08/24/15 — InSellerate, the developer of the most advanced lead optimization and automated sale technology, announced today that it has successfully completed its first Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) 16 Type II audit.
The examination, performed by SSAE 16 Professionals, LLP, tested InSellerate services and corporate controls, resulting in an objective confirmation that InSellerate–s data is securely maintained and controlled. SSAE 16 Type II is an internationally recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The SSAE 16 Type II supersedes the SAS 70 audit standard, and is designated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as an acceptable method for management to obtain assertions about service organization internal controls without conducting separate assessments.
“It–s important to us that our customers know we are committed to the highest standards for processes, controls and procedures,” said Josh Friend, CEO and President of InSellerate. “Data security is more important than ever, as announcements of data breaches seem to highlight the news more frequently. InSellerate had the SSAE 16 Type II audit completed to provide our customers with confidence we are taking every measure to ensure their data is protected.”
