In this role, Bloch is responsible for leading Designs on Talent–s operations, sales and marketing efforts, while providing oversight on the effective use of resources, the company–s approach in the marketplace and client successes.
A graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in computer science, Bloch has extensive experience building highly effective recruiting strategies for some of the most prominent companies in Silicon Valley. Serving as director of Talent Acquisition for Cadence Design Systems, he led a team of 25 technical staffing professionals, implemented a new staffing structure and applicant tracking system to decrease cost-of-hire and time-to-hire. He then served as staffing director for Cisco Systems, directing and managing a team of 100 recruitment personnel and managing the contingent workforce, international hiring, diversity, campus, and intern hiring programs.
Bloch also developed extensive experience on the service provider side, helping companies transform their recruitment and HR departments through process improvements and technology integration. As field marketing director for Hire.com, now PeopleFluent, he helped large global enterprises integrate recruitment best practices and software technologies. In his roles as global practice leader, Recruiting Solutions for EDS, an HP company, and senior director, Recruiting Product Management and Strategy for Convergys Corporation, he worked with technology, consulting and system integration firms to design optimized HR and recruitment processes for his clients. Most recently, Bloch served as chief growth officer, Sales & Marketing for Decision Toolbox, where he worked with clients to optimally blend internal and external recruitment resources to improve their talent acquisition results.
