NAPA, CA — (Marketwired) — 06/25/15 — Xyicon, a provider of innovative software solutions, is hosting the first Xyicon Design Contest — challenging entrants to create smart “Xyicons” to represent a person, place or any other “Thing” for any “Space” in Xyicon–s new SpaceRunner application.
Xyicons are visual clues to items a person or a business wants to keep track of. Xyicons can represent equipment, objects or furniture that are in the office, home, outdoor space or other areas. These icons can include appliances, electronic equipment or even trees and shrubs. SpaceRunner is a new web-based visual asset planning and management that serves as a “Visual Spreadsheet” for the many different “Things” associated with any floor plan, location map or building image.
Entrants who add to the current library of Xyicons with their own unique creations can win one of three $200 Amazon Gift Cards. Deadline to enter the Xyicon Design Contest is June 30, 2015, 11:59 pm PT. There is no limit to the number of Xyicon artwork an entrant can submit. The top 10 Xyicon designs will be announced on July 6, 2015. The top three Xyicon designs, as chosen by the Facebook community, will be announced on July 13, 2015, and each winner will receive a $200 Amazon Gift Card.
