TORONTO, ONTARIO — (Marketwired) — 06/16/15 — ARHT Media Inc. (“ARHT”) (TSX VENTURE: ART)(OTCQB: ARHTF) today announced the first of its campaigns with Klick Health, the world–s largest independent health agency, as part of their strategic alliance.
In their first implementation in healthcare, holograms were on display at the Klick Ideas Exchange in Philadelphia yesterday. Larry King, entertainment heavyweight and talk show host, appeared as a HumaGram at the event which brought together some of the biggest thinkers in health and business with the nation–s leading pharma and biotech CEOs to explore how emerging technologies and data can radically change the way health care is delivered and how health care companies work.
“The event brings together those at the intersection of health, technology and creativity and offered the perfect space for us to showcase our HumaGrams, which are top-of-the-range human holograms, and their delivery of healthcare content,” said Paul Duffy, CEO of ARHT Media Inc.
Through this technology from ARHT, big leaps can be taken in what the industry refers to as –Key Opinion Leader– events and Plan of Action meetings. These are industry events led by prominent thought leaders in the space, intended to share knowledge and provide endorsements for particular healthcare solutions. These leaders are often overcommitted and with the option of ARHT–s HumaGrams, the constraints of time and geography are lifted. As HumaGrams, Key Opinion Leaders can interact with people just like they would face-to-face, alongside interactive visual aids to augment the experience. They can now attend multiple speaking engagements, across different countries, at the same time, either live or pre-recorded in what ARHT calls –holo porting–. Holo porting is similar to simulcasting but gives participants a rich, fully interactive experience that feels the same as having a hologram physically present as a human.
The innovative technology was featured on CNBC as part of the coverage of the event.
As the partnership with Klick continues, ARHT said they would facilitate the showcasing of high-impact content at healthcare speaking engagements, medical conferences and other pharmaceutical and biotechnology events. This will be done on three levels; the first will involve 3D displays that will enhance visual aids, making for creative and interactive content. The second will present HumaGrams, like the one facilitated for the first deployment at MUSE Ideas Exchange by Larry King. HumaGrams open up multiple possibilities and support the concept of bringing scale to the speakers market within healthcare. Thirdly, ARHT will collect proximity marketing data through a full suite of proximity analytics that come with their holographic solutions. This provides insights including the number of people who saw the content and details on engagement, among many other possible metrics.
Paul Duffy added, “Klick Ideas Exchange allowed us to apply our technology in a way that will inspire the C-suite to think about scale, interactivity and engagement. We are excited we were able to showcase our holographic prowess, including Larry King, as well as open minds to possibilities with proximity marketing data. This was such an inspirational platform to launch our first campaign with Klick Health, with plans to deliver many more in the future.”
Klick Ideas Exchange focused on some of the most important and provocative topics expected to affect pharmaceutical development and health care delivery in the coming years. Subjects covered included the changing complexion of reimbursement, evolving roles of the FDA, increasing role of technology in medical care and clinical development, and developing innovative medicines in an era of increasing cost-sensitivity and conflict of interest concerns. Speakers included Drs. Eric Topol, Ezekiel Emanuel, and Daniel Kraft, biotech luminaries Martine Rothblatt, and RJ Kirk, and acclaimed business management gurus Tom Peters and Gary Hamel.
