Kithara Software, specialist in the field of real-time, is an exhibitor at this year’s VISION in Stuttgart from November 4 to 6. At booth A68 in hall 1 the software developer grants an insight into new developments and advancements in industrial image capturing and image processing in real-time as well as integration into automation systems.
At one of the leading trade shows for machine vision, industry representatives gather to exchange information about the latest image technologies and products. These technologies find application in industrial sectors such as automation, automotive engineering, bio engineering and alternative energies.
This year Kithara is going to present real-time solutions with a focus on GigE Vision®, USB3 Vision®, image processing with HALCON and OpenCV as well as interaction of machine vision and EtherCAT-based automation.
“Industrial imaging systems nowadays have become an integral part in automation solutions. To meet the high demands in automation technology, image capturing and image processing are required to operate on a real-time level. The VISION trade show represents the ideal platform for us to show our innovations in this field”, said Uwe Jesgarz, managing director of Kithara Software GmbH.
Based on real-time Ethernet drivers by Kithara, industrial GigE Vision® cameras with a 10-gigabit connection can be communicated with in real-time, which are in high demand, especially for extremely sophisticated applications. Likewise, all cameras running with the fast-growing USB3 Vision® standard are equally supported with real-time capability.
The field of image processing is provided with library interfaces for HALCON and OpenCV. Furthermore, with the Halcon Logic Controller (HLC) it is possible to control machines within EtherCAT facilities in real-time, directly from the developer environment (HDevelop).
