BOSTON, MA — (Marketwired) — 09/16/14 — , Boston–s education technology startup program (formerly known as LearnLaunchX), today announced it is accepting applications from edtech startups for its winter 2015 cohort class.
“We help promising edtech startups from around the world that are creating new innovations for education and learning tap into the brightest minds in the business to help strengthen and position their companies and products for a successful launch, accelerate their sales, and prepare themselves for funding,” said Jean Hammond, partner at LearnLaunch.
The LearnLaunch Accelerator program, now in its second year, will provide up to eight selected edtech startups with $18K in seed funding, hands-on mentoring, office space, discounted services, and networking opportunities. The companies will participate in a three-month intensive residential program at , Boston–s only co-working space dedicated to edtech startups.
To date, LearnLaunch Accelerator has invested in 13 companies and recently graduated its second class from its winter 2014 program. Over 60 mentors have participated, and the program has attracted influencers and thought leaders from business, government, and the education sector. Applications are being accepted through October 31, 2014. The program will begin in February 2015.
