(arvato Systems) Gütersloh, Germany – Since 1 April 2013, arvato Systems has dedicated itself to the Fair Company Initiative run by Karriere, a job and business magazine. The systems integrator continues to follow the initiative in 2014 and is committed to the guidelines for fairness and transparency when handling new members of the workforce.
Training programs offer students practical experience. They enter companies and broaden their academic horizons with valuable experiences from the world of work. Every year, several interns and student trainees at arvato Systems provide highly motivated support to the company for a few weeks or months at a time. arvato Systems joined the Fair Company Initiative and is continuing its membership for 2014 too, so that this junior talent has access to equal opportunities.
Siegfried Bloch, Head of Human Resources at arvato Systems, emphasizes the relevance of the initiative for the business: “Interns gain valuable insights into our internationally-oriented company. In addition, internships create an ideal basis for launching a successful career after you have earned your degree. At arvato Systems, junior employees work on stimulating projects from day one. We appreciate this commitment and, as responsible employees, therefore place significant value on fair working conditions.”
The initiative has been committed to fair internships for ten years and remains a guarantee of quality and credibility. The new logo for the Fair Company Initiative provides a visible symbol of certified fairness. The number of years is yet another clear indication of how employees actively follow the Fair Company rules. For example, the company does not place interns, trainees, guest students, or long-term temporary workers in full-time positions, and does not provide graduates with an internship if they applied for a permanent position.
