Stout brings more than 15 years of senior sales technology leadership along with an in-depth understanding of how to drive incremental revenue within sales, channel and customer organizations. In this role, Stout will be responsible for overall sales force effectiveness and optimization, defining and securing new channel and partnership opportunities, and developing sales strategies to drive broader enterprise adoption for the company-s advanced online project portfolio management solution.
“As our product matures and becomes a better option for larger enterprise organizations who have grown frustrated with traditional project management tools, it is critical that we build a sales organization that is capable of executing at scale,” said Liz Pearce, CEO of LiquidPlanner. “We are very fortunate to attract someone of David-s caliber to our team and are confident that his experience in defining and implementing customer-centric selling methodologies will enable us to execute against a very aggressive sales plan and help us establish a strong foothold in the enterprise market.”
Prior to joining LiquidPlanner, Stout served as Vice President, Sales Operations for Vertafore, a leading provider of software and services for the insurance industry. In this role, Stout led the design and implementation of multiple sales initiatives that transformed the company-s go-to-market strategy and drove significant improvements in sales productivity, customer satisfaction and revenue. At InFocus, the creator of the digital projection category, Stout held leadership positions in Sales, Marketing and Finance, and successfully re-engineered the organization-s channel strategy that helped return the company to profitability. Stout has also held senior sales and operations roles at RadiSys, Tektronix and Xerox. Stout earned his BA from the University of Portland and his MBA from the University of Arizona.
“LiquidPlanner has an established history of helping teams overcome the complexity in their projects through flexible framework that can easily support any number of popular methodologies.
