PITTSBURGH, PA — (Marketwired) — 09/24/13 — William J. (Bill) Sciolla has been chosen to serve as President of Pittsburgh International Telecommunications, Inc., effective Tuesday, October 15, 2013. The announcement was made today by Michael A. Asti, CFO and member of the Board of Directors. Sciolla has been with the company for 28 years, serving as the head of operations since 1990.

Sciolla began his career at Pittsburgh International Telecommunications, Inc. in 1985, shortly after the company-s inception, and has played an integral role in building one of the largest privately held teleports in the world, serving customers from every major continent. His tenure has been focused on customer service and in staying at the forefront of new communications technologies, while facilitating an effective connection between management, sales, and technical operations.
