Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) kicked off a full week of partner programming at Oracle OpenWorld 2013, welcoming more than 5,000 executives, customer and partners from around the globe. The event offers partners- unique insight into Oracle-s key priority areas for FY14 and new opportunities to learn and grow with Oracle in the coming year.

Starting off the week, more than 5,000 partners gathered online and in person at the OPN Exchange Forum to learn about Oracle-s strategic priorities for FY14 and how they can expand business innovation and opportunity with Oracle.
Oracle President Mark Hurd welcomed the Oracle partner community and outlined key areas for partner expansion and customer growth, including cloud, engineered systems, applications and industries.
Along with OPN executives from around the globe, customers and partners took the stage to share their successes including KPI Partners, InMotion and customer Entel, Accenture and customer Celcom, Enkitec, SCC, and TAS.
Oracle-s John Fowler, executive vice president, Systems also joined to talk about partner opportunity around Oracle-s hardware and engineered systems.

The five-day event, including partner-only sessions, networking opportunities, certification testing and more will provide partners with the information and tools they need to differentiate and grow their business with Oracle.
Throughout the week, a series of 40+ sessions, addressing strategic product areas including applications, engineered systems, industry solutions, Internet of Things, and the cloud. Partners will also have exclusive access to Oracle experts- onsite to help them capitalize on Oracle-s extensive application-to-disk technology portfolio.
The OPN Lounge is available to partners Monday through Wednesday, offering demo kiosks, OPN information stations, and a special area for blogging/video blogging in the OPN Video Blogging Room, as well as opportunities to network with colleagues, customers, prospects, and other industry professionals.
Back by popular demand, the event features an enhanced Social Media Rally Station. The Station provides partners assessments and to help them better leverage modern communications channels, such as social media and blogs, to increase awareness and opportunity in the market.
Recognizing partner success through Specialization, OPN also announced the winners of its 2013 Oracle Excellence Awards for Specialized Partner of the Year in North America, EMEA, APAC, LAD, Japan and Global. Oracle-s partner executives from around the globe were on hand to celebrate their partner-s contributions.
