NEW YORK, NY — (Marketwired) — 09/04/13 — Tremor Video, Inc. (NYSE: TRMR), a leading provider of technology-driven video advertising solutions, made key talent announcements today on the Human Resources Team. Jennifer Speciale has joined as Director, Talent Acquisition and Adrienne Barnard has been promoted to Director, Human Resources. Both are based in the New York office and report to Sharon Grundfast, Head of Human Resources. The appointment of Jennifer Speciale and promotion of Adrienne Barnard mark Tremor Video-s continued focus on building a global team that attracts, develops and retains top talent.
As Director of Talent Acquisition, Speciale will be responsible for leading the recruiting function and hiring A-players globally.
“The video advertising industry is an expanding market with the growing need for discovering and developing talent at a rapid pace,” said Sharon Grundfast, Head of Human Resources. “Jennifer has a great track record and is known for her ability to match career aspirations with business goals along with building long term relationships. Both of these capabilities are critical as we engage with and recruit world-class technology candidates. We are thrilled to have Jennifer join the team and are excited to build upon our proficiency in this arena.”
Speciale most recently worked with a boutique consulting agency where she helped to build out startup organizations as well as to advise on best practices for recruiting and retaining the best talent. Prior to that, Jennifer was an early member of and served as its first full-time recruiter, building then leading Talent Acquisition throughout the U.S., as well as Indeed.com-s first international operations in London and Dublin. Before joining Indeed.com, Jennifer helped build the UX/UI/Usability functions for Google NYC and also recruited Software Engineers there. She also recruited digital/interactive media and strategic web metrics teams for Digitas NYC.
Speciale holds a B.A. in Neural Science from Indiana University with 4 published articles and graduated with honors, an M.A. in International Relations and an M.S. in International Business from Seton Hall University, also graduating with honors. She attended additional graduate studies at University of Beijing and in Luxembourg.
Tremor Video also announced the promotion of Adrienne Barnard to Director, Human Resources. Barnard joined Tremor Video in June 2009. Over the last four years she has overseen end to end human resource activities. She served as the point of contact during Tremor Video-s acquisition of ScanScout, and managed the relocation of Tremor Video-s New York City office in November 2010. In her expanded role, Barnard will be responsible for minimizing the amount of time new hires require before adding high value, developing leaders who are able to attract, develop, and retain top-talent, and cultivating a performance driven environment where goals, feedback and development plans are acted on.
“Adrienne is a true Business Partner as exemplified over the past four years at Tremor Video,” said Grundfast. “She has successfully managed employee lifecycle events as a consummate professional and is a coach and guide to many, if not all at Tremor Video.”
Prior to joining Tremor Video Barnard held positions at Interactive One and Blue Man Productions. She is a graduate of Clark University with a Master-s in Professional Communication for Human Resources and a Bachelor-s degree in English where she graduated cum laude.
