The centerpiece of the GE facility is a 60-foot wide, 7-foot high, 180-degree curved Prysm Laser Phosphor Display (LPD) videowall. The stunning digital canvas, realized with the LPD videowall, allows customers to take an interactive, immersive look at GE-s full suite of energy management tools.
Commercial Integrator Magazine and TechDecisions Media awarded the GE installation its 2013 Integration Award for the Best Corporate Solution category. In the award commentary, they cited the LPD videowall as “the jewel in this crown” for the customer experience center and called its visual impact “jaw-dropping.” It delivers the “wow” factor as the centerpiece of what the award described as an “AV tour de force.”
In addition, the GE installation received the People-s Choice Award in the Best Corporate Solution category. This inaugural award is sponsored by InfoComm International and NewBay Media. Finalists for the award were selected by a panel of industry experts including journalists, technical directors and industry educators with winners determined by the votes of InfoComm 2013 attendees.
Finally, recognized as the industry-s best professional AV installation in the Corporate category, the GE facility was honored with the prestigious PRO AV Spotlight Awards. Chosen from entries received in nine categories, the PRO AV Spotlight Awards honor installations that demonstrate excellence in technical design, innovation and success in advancing their customers- mission.
