Designed to be the premier datacenter complex in the Pacific, Hawaii Pacific Data will provide commercial and government clients with secure, high availability, critical infrastructure to support telecom, cloud presence, content delivery, and IT data system hosting, coupled with strategic, broad access to international fiber optic and satellite providers.
Set to launch immediately, the multi-building project will initially redevelop an existing facility to provide over 200 customer cabinets in a secure, redundant environment. Leveraging the proximity to HPT, Hawaii Pacific Data will create a high bandwidth capacity “meet-me” point and establish it as a critical, strategic point of presence for trans-Pacific traffic. Additional campus development will include a new, highly secure, high power density building adjacent to the existing facility. Furthermore, Hawaii Pacific Data-s strategic location adjoining HPT, an international satellite communications provider, provides additional redundancy for datacenter customers and multiple alternatives for routing traffic.
