SAN FRANCISCO, CA — (Marketwired) — 04/26/13 — , a celebrated digital publisher of interactive stories, motion comics and non-fiction series, is gearing up to announce the addition of their new -editor- tool that will allow ordinary readers to create their own interactive stories with visuals, music and simple animation. The NARR8 platform is set to launch in late May 2013.
NARR8 is a free mobile application currently available for download on iPad and iPad Mini and Android devices 4.0 and higher. Having launched in Nov. 2012, the next stage in NARR8-s expanding business model will be the launch of their new -editor- tool for readers, which encourages eager users to share their text on the NARR8 platform, making the stories come alive with easy to apply animation, sound and visual effects. The platform will be made available for fans to partner with NARR8 by sharing their own stories and images by uploading it to the NARR8 app for all to see.
The editor is estimated to launch in late May 2013The interface will offer different types of assets, such as various sounds, backgrounds and images, as well as other simple instruments for animation. Using these tools, readers will create their own library of interactive stories in various genres. Tutorials will also be available to get new users up to speed.
All users- content will be free of charge, but once a user gains 1000 downloads of the episode, he will be authorized to sell the content for NARRs, virtual currency NARR8 released in February 2013. This will allow the user to read all NARR8 series with NARRs earned. In the near future, NARR8 plans to implement a revenue sharing model for the authors of popular series to earn real money, as well.
