Bernburg, 23 August 2010 – Pumacy Technologies is showcasing its portfolio of knowledge and innovation management methods and tools for large and small businesses at I-KNOW 2010, the International Conference on Knowledge Management and Knowledge Technologies, September 1-3, 2010 in Graz (Austria).
“Experts agree that the convergence of web 2.0 concepts with knowledge management solutions offers unprecedented opportunities for businesses. However, many businesses find it difficult to decide which web 2.0 tool is right for them and will be readily applied by employees,” explains Dr. Lars Langenberg, CTO at Pumacy.
“Based on the knowledge management platform KMmaster® Pumacy will present a solution that offers businesses the opportunity to combine methods from knowledge and innovation management with web 2.0 functionalities such as wikis, tags, blogs and microblogging.”
On September 1, at 11 am Pumacy contributes to the I-KNOW 2010 forum with a presentation on “How much web 2.0 is applicable for businesses?”. Three examples will be given to illustrate how project-based knowledge and ideas can be widely shared in organizations, how businesses operating in highly regulated environments will benefit from an integrated quality and knowledge management, and how knowledge management tools can support temporary collaboration. Presentations held at the I-KNOW 2010 forum will be in German.
I-KNOW 2010 (www.i-know.at) – now in its 10th year – takes place from September 1-3, 2010 in Graz/Austria. The event brings together international researchers (in the English speaking scientific tracks) and practitioners (in the German speaking Praxisforum) from the fields of knowledge management and knowledge technologies.
