PALO ALTO, CA — (Marketwired) — 04/08/13 — The Cloud Credential Council today announced that VMware has joined the council.
Cloud Computing has significant benefits for organizations ranging from improving cost efficiency to the development of completely new business models that leverage cloud, and training and certification play a key role in increasing the successful adoption of cloud. With the adoption of cloud there are many factors to take into consideration to ensure success, one of them being the organizational skills gap related to cloud computing. The Cloud Credential Council (CCC) aims to minimize the skills gap through world-class cloud training and certification. The CCC does this by working with its members and cloud experts to define the required cloud competencies, and subsequently developing cloud courses and exams.

The Cloud Credential Council will release five Professional level cloud certifications this year: CCC Professional Cloud Developer, Solutions Architect, Administrator, Service Manager, and Security/Governance. The syllabi are available for public review on the CCC website.
