Prezi Partners With TED to “Prezify” Inspiring TED Talks

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — (Marketwire) — 02/11/13 — , the zooming presentation software that has liberated the world from boring, static presentations, announced the today in partnership with like-minded organization TED. Prezi and TED (the nonprofit sponsor of presentations and conferences around Technology, Education, and Design) have joined forces to unite Prezi-s commitment to the proliferation of big ideas with TED-s platform to showcase “ideas worth spreading.” The contest calls upon the global Prezi community to create a prezi inspired by one of five notable TED presentations, including critically acclaimed author of “Eat Pray Love”, , world renowned spoken word poet and founder of Project V.O.I.C.E., and New York Times bestselling author, . Winning prezis will be featured on the TED blog and promoted by TED Curator Chris Anderson via social media channels.

Starting now and until Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at 11:59pm PST entrants can submit prezis to for consideration. To promote their submission and win the popular vote, entrants are encouraged to tweet @Prezi using the hashtag #ideasmatter. Ten finalists, two for each talk, will be determined based on popular vote and a Prezi judging panel.

TED Curator Chris Anderson and Prezi CEO Peter Arvai will select the grand prizewinner from the pool of ten finalists.

All submissions are due Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, 11:59pm PST. All ten finalists will be notified by Prezi and receive Prezi pro licenses. The winner will be announced by Chris Anderson and Peter Arvai on February 28, 2013 at . The winning prezi will be posted on the TED blog and Prezi website and will be shown to the TED speaker who inspired the winning prezi.

2. – Is the message and format of the prezi clear, understandable, and accessible to a broad audience?
