Austria, July 9, 2009 – TEC-IT Datenverarbeitung GmbH (tec-it.com), leading vendor of barcode and label printing software releases the new version of TBarCode/SAPwin – the barcode printing extension for SAP ERP systems.
TBarCode/SAPwin is a so-called “Barcode DLL”. It offers device and release independent bar code printing for all printers. Costly special purpose printers or barcode extensions like barcode DIMMs or barcode SIMMs are no longer required. TBarCode/SAPwin integrates seamlessly into the SAP printing process and operates as plug-in for SAPsprint or SAPlpd.
Users of TBarCode/SAPwin benefit from a minimal cost of ownership. The transparent licensing scheme enables customers to put a cost effective bar-coding solution into operation. In addition, this barcode dll works with virtually every printer available on the market.
TEC-IT-s CEO, Mr. Guenter Kriegl, emphasizes the main benefits of this barcode printing solution as follows: “Compared to special purpose barcode printers or barcode modules, TBarCode/SAPwin offers dramatic savings: The costs for barcode printing does not depend on the number of printers. Additionally, TBarCode/SAPwin is completely printer independent. Customers are free to choose printer manufactures or printer models without being forced to invest in new barcode printing hardware. Well-known companies and organizations whole over the world have been benefiting from this solution for many years.”
The new version of TBarCode/SAPwin focuses on Unicode capabilities (e.g. for SAP ECC 6.0), on Windows Vista and Windows 7 compatibility and provides the most complete barcode support available on the market. Linear bar codes like EAN128, HIBC codes, 2D bar codes like Data Matrix ECC200 and even the GS1 DataBar symbology are generated and printed in perfect quality. Installation and customization is very easy – the product is configured solely via standard print controls. Existing Smart Forms, SAPscript or ABAP reports are usable without modification.
TBarCode/SAPwin V9 can be downloaded from www.tec-it.com for evaluation purposes free of charge. The solution is available for Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista and Windows 7.
