Responsible for product and packaging design, Smith will also drive developments and graphics for all existing and new product categories and brands.
Smith joins Targus from Adidas where he was Head of Apparel, Asia Pacific for the Reebok Brand in Hong Kong. While there, he was responsible for the direction of all product creation and merchandising of apparel and accessories throughout Asia. Smith was successful in tripling sale volumes and for driving efficiencies within multiple business units while expanding the brand through local, regional and global product ranges for multiple channels.

Before Reebok, Duane was co-founder and CEO of Boston-based Vessel Inc., a housewares design and distribution company with an award-winning line of lighting, tableware and furniture that was available in over 20 countries. Vessel-s product line included the well-recognized Candela® brand of rechargeable lights, which grew to a multi-million dollar business and was sold to a Fortune 500 Company.
Smith earned his Bachelor-s Degree in Industrial Design from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, and studied at the world-famous Bauhaus Center in Dessau, Germany.
