The (WTIA), North America-s largest statewide association of technology companies, IT departments and individual technology professionals, and , a leader in connecting IT job candidates with companies, are hosting a tech job fair at the Coast Bellevue Hotel on October 24.
This one-day job fair focuses exclusively on positions within technology companies and/or IT departments in Washington State. Participating companies will have access to a qualified pool of both local candidates and those who would be willing to relocate to Washington, most of whom have at least five years experience in their respective fields. Additionally, using their “QFetch” technology, TechFetch will pre-match appropriate candidates and fast track their introductions to hiring companies.
Prospective employees will have the opportunity to meet with potential employers face-to-face, and will also hear presentations from expert recruiters and hiring managers, with topics such as:

“How to Strategically Manage Your Job Search,” by Melanie Vargas, Managing Director at Swift HR Solutions
“Cut the Crap, Get a Job,” by Dana Manciagli, GM, worldwide OEM distribution and reseller channel at Microsoft Corporation
Additionally, representatives from Northeastern University Seattle, Foster School of Business Technology Management MBA and the UW Professional & Continuing Education department are giving overviews about their continuing education programs and certification classes.
