Experts from M2M pioneer and connected services enabler, Telenor Connexion, will be part of the high-level telematics conference program covering topics such as security enabled communication and embedded SIM.
Telenor Connexion, a leading enabler of connected services for business and life critical applications, today announced that three of the company-s executives will participate at the Telematics Munich 2012 conference.
Telematics Munich is one of Europe-s largest business focused conferences and exhibitions for the automotive, digital, mobile, consumer electronics and telematics ecosystem. The event expects to attract more than 600 executive attendees.
Andrea Sroczynski, Head of Global Automotive Sales and Head of Region Germany, will give a keynote speech titled “Embedded SIM next generation: Influences on M2M connectivity solutions”. The embedded SIM (eUICC or “white SIM”) is currently a hot topic in the M2M space and telecommunications providers are facing a high demand from customers.
Another topic high on the agenda is security enabled communication. Stephen Bryant, Head of Technology and Operations at Telenor Connexion, will be speaking on “How to avoid hacking points and the business case for end-to-end security in M2M solutions”. As more products become connected they are also exposed to potential “hacking” attacks, fraud or misusage. Hence improving privacy, integrity and security becomes a critical part of a M2M/connected service deployment program.
Furthermore, Rémi Demerlé, Global Partnerships Director, will discuss opportunities and challenges on the panel “Commercial Vehicle Telematics: The Outlook Beyond 2012”.
Telenor Connexion will also demonstrate its specialized connected services offering in booth #16 at the event taking place at the Munich Hilton Park Hotel.
