The annual conference, presented by the Anita Borg Institute (ABI) and the Association of Computing Machinery India (ACM India), is the largest gathering of women in computing in India. The Grace Hopper Celebration India will take place on December 12-14, 2012 at the Lalit Ashok Hotel, Bangalore, India. This year-s theme “Beyond Boundaries” recognizes that innovation in technology arises from the willingness to cross boundaries in technology and the culture of technology.
The Grace Hopper Celebration is designed to bring the research and career interests of women in computing to the forefront. Leading researchers present their current work, while special sessions focus on the role of women in today-s technology fields, including computer science, information technology, research and engineering.
