Cortado Workplace allows users to store important documents in an online repository
hosted on a Cortado server. Users want to print their documents directly from their
smartphone in many situations, such as training classrooms, hotels, in mobile and
temporary networks during trainings, trade shows etc. Combining the PS54a-G WLAN print
server with Cortado Workplace is a solution which is simple to install and easy to use in
such cases. If the document is to be printed in a wireless LAN all the BlackBerry or iPhone
user has to do is connect. Users can then automatically access all printers in the WLAN
attached via PS54a-G to print their documents. With a base of more than 6,000 installed
printer drivers, the Cortado Server provides the required printer driver for correctly
processing the print job. This solution also works with all other SEH print servers and in
wired networks, too.
“This is a really simple solution for everybody who wants to use cloud printing for their
smartphones,” Peter Herden, SEH General Manager, explains. “The combination of our
print server and the free Cortado application works plug and play.”
“We are excited to extend our longstanding and successful cooperation with SEH into the
field of cloud printing,” says Frank Hoffmann, Director Strategic Relationships at ThinPrint.
The PS54a-G WLAN print server is available for about 225 Euro excluding VAT. Cortado
Workplace is available for free download at

software solution Cortado Corporate Server for enterprise customers wanting to use cloud
printing behind the protective circumference of their firewall.
