NEWPORT BEACH, CA — (Marketwire) — 08/14/12 — AirTouch® Communications (OTCQB: ATCH) (OTCBB: ATCH) (), a supplier of innovative wireless telecommunications devices, Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Jerome Kaiser, has outlined the company-s business plans and recent milestones in interviews with the CDTV.net financial news network and with The Stock Radio financial news network. The CDTV.net interview is available at and The Stock Radio interview is at .
During the interviews, Mr. Kaiser highlighted that AirTouch recently signed key distribution agreements in Latin America and the U.S. for its innovative, state-of-the-art wireless routers, stationary signal-enhanced cellphones and triple-play portals for voice, data and video. Mr. Kaiser stated, “Patented, proprietary devices designed and manufactured by AirTouch target two large markets; emerging regions where landline and broadband infrastructure are poor or non-existent, and developed markets that have poor wireless reception such as dense urban environments and rural areas.”
AirTouch offers two families of products. For landline customers who want to keep their service, the AirTouch SmartLinX device enables users to connect their cellphone with their landline at home or in the office, providing conveniences such as access to their cellphone contact list, higher signal quality, and savings in mobile minutes.
AirTouch has shipped the SmartLinX devices to Telmex, the largest landline operator in Latin America, and distribution partners in the U.S. including TeleDynamics, which supplies 30,000 retail outlets, and GetWireless, a major telecommunications products distributor in the Midwest. Additionally, AirTouch is exploring methods of distributing the SmartLinX technology to China and Brazil.
Mr. Kaiser stated, “SmartLinX also has the ability to provide software updates, application and services through the AirTouch cloud-based, Global Device Management System (GDMS). GDMS will enable users who are traveling internationally to connect by smartphone to a landline in their home country through local Wi-Fi, enhancing signal quality, security, avoiding outrageous roaming charges and saving smartphone minutes. The added security of landlines will be attractive for financial transactions and other communications requiring enhanced privacy.”
One of the key features of the GDMS used in conjunction with SmartLinX is that the receiver does not have to use the same system, program or application as the caller, like many VoIP solutions. Since GDMS uses a landline, the caller is not restricted on who they can call.
AirTouch also offers its HomeConneX® line of products for countries where landline service is poor or non-existent. HomeConneX® products enable high-quality, signal-amplified voice, data and video services to be delivered over the existing cellular network with no landlines and no computers.
AirTouch® Communications, Inc. is engaged in the development and marketing of patented telecommunications devices capable of converging voice, data, video, security, entertainment and other advanced communications services from various service providers on one piece of hardware. We currently hold three patents for our unique combination of cordless telephone technology and wireless signal amplification which enables consumers and business to access voice, data, and other applications and services over the cellular wireless network.
