The new »USB Toolkit« of the Berlin company Kithara Software enables to fast and convenient development of USB drivers for Windows or to contact other USB hardware. Effortful studying the process of Windows driver development is avoided, because all functions are available from the usual programming environment.
Today electronic devices are often external USB devices. To develop a USB driver it is necessary to study kernel programming. This is often very extensive. Concerning this the Kithara »USB Toolkit« provides help and supports especially ground breaking companies from industrial environment.
Developers work in their usual programming environment. The software directly supports the programming languages C/C++ and Delphi but also with some restrictions C# and thereby the .NET environment.
The »USB Toolkit« provides a generic driver for USB devices. By editing an INF file it is easy to configure and the developer can access conveniently.
It supports all USB transfer methods like control, bulk, interrupt and isochron transfer.
Also the software supports USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 (low, full, high speed) and the operating systems Windows NT, 2000 and XP including the new Windows Vista (32 bit).
The toolkit provides a complete Plug&Play support and handles all power management events. It supports USB devices with multiple interfaces and multiple configurations. Furthermore it contains special arrangements for safe and continuous data transfer. The »USB Toolkit« enables operations of mutliple applications and devices at the same time. It allows a reaction to incoming data also on the kernel level as well.
The software includes various application examples and is integrated in the product range Kithara »RealTime Suite«. At „www.kithara.de“ a free demo version is provided for downloading, further product information and a current price list.
