Hussain will lead the advancement of EcoFactor-s SaaS platform as the company works with its partners, including Comcast and other major service and energy providers, to roll out its home energy solution across the country. Hussain joins the company with a diverse background in software development, having held leadership roles in solar energy, cloud computing and online services.

Hussain comes to EcoFactor after four years at SunPower Corporation. As Director of Software Engineering there, he led the development of embedded software products and data analytics for its SaaS platform, which simulates, measures and validates the power generation of the company-s solar power plants. Prior to his time at SunPower, Hussain was Vice President, R&D at NextAxiom Technology, a technology firm specializing in real-time system integration solutions for the energy and utility industry. While there, he oversaw the product roadmap, architecture and development of the NextAxiom platform, using open communication industry standards to integrate components of grid management software, asset management and business workflows. Previously, Hussain also spent seven years at Netscape, both before and after its acquisition by AOL, building agile software teams and delivering large-scale high-availability consumer services for tens of millions of users around the world.
