BOSTON, MA — (Marketwire) — 05/10/12 — (NASDAQ: ENOC), a leading provider of solutions for commercial, industrial, and institutional energy users, today announced that it has been selected as the Commissioning Authority in a seven-year contract with the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC). Through this master services agreement, which lasts through March 1, 2018, EnerNOC will work closely with building construction stakeholders to ensure that the City of San Francisco-s new buildings operate efficiently and to the owners- specifications. The first project under this agreement is San Francisco-s new Public Safety Building, a 300,000-square-foot LEED Gold facility set to open in 2014. This contract also includes potential task orders for additional projects to which EnerNOC will contribute its energy efficiency services in the coming years.
EnerNOC has already served as the Commissioning Authority on a variety of buildings for the City of San Francisco, including the San Francisco International Airport, the renovation of the Moscone Center, and the SFPUC-s own headquarters building, a LEED Platinum facility. This agreement builds on the success of those initiatives, as SFPUC continues its commitment to the sustainable and economically sound development of its facilities.

Located in the Mission Bay area of San Francisco, the new Public Safety Building will house the San Francisco Police Department Headquarters, as well as both a police and fire station. Construction on this $168 million facility began in early 2012, during which time EnerNOC has been working with the SFPUC and Department of Public Works to provide a full range of LEED commissioning services for the project.
